Australia

Embarking on an incredibly ambitious tour, James Johnston and The Drift with nothing but a van and a traveling stage, are on a mission to test the mental and physical boundaries of a musician. Over 50 days he will play 50 shows across 5 states in a journey that will take James far beyond anywhere he's been before. He will drive, play, eat and sleep across the length and breadth of Australia to test himself against the elements to raise funds and awareness for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.

The Drift & James Johnston will set off on May 5th from Brisbane's iconic Caxton Street Festival and push further and deeper into the unknown of Australia. Supported by outstanding youngsters Josh McCartney and Matt Graham, James will be popping up in the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, and will return to Brisbane for his 50th and final show. The boys will also be visiting a number of schools in their travels to work with and help promote the outstanding work of the ACMF.

Follow James Johnston and The Drift and share in their journey at www.jamesjohnston.com.au or www.facebook.com/50in50tour as they come to a region near you.
